PXL - Activate and De-activate Outputs

The PXL outputs can be activated or de-activated from the Borealis user interface.

 

Note: Outputs that are configured as lock or alarm outputs cannot be activated or de-activated from the user interface. Lock outputs are activated from the readers page. The alarm outputs are only activated when the associated reader is in alarm state (door forced or door held open).

 

2.0 Activate an Output (or Outputs)

  1. From the main menu click on Hardware >> Outputs.
  2. The list of all general purpose outputs will appear.
  3. Place a check mark against the output you wish to activate.
  4. Click the Turn On button.

  5. You will see a notification at the top of the screen to indicate that the output activate command has been sent.
  6. Note: You can also select multiple outputs that can be activated simultaneously.

  7. You can also activate individual outputs via the output's Action drop-down menu.

3.0 De-activate an Output (or Outputs)

  1. From the main menu click on Hardware >> Outputs.
  2. The list of all general purpose outputs will appear.
  3. Place a check mark against the output you wish to de-activate.
  4. Click the Turn Off button.

  5. You will see a notification at the top of the screen to indicate that the output deactivate command has been sent.
  6. Note: You can also select multiple outputs that can be deactivated simultaneously.

  7. You can also activate outputs via the output's Action drop-down menu.
