KB Controller Sync

KB Controller Sync

1.0 Introduction

The KB controller has a Sync option which allows you to send a full update to the controller via the Actions menu. You should use sync if you are not sure if a change has been successfully sent out to the controllers (for example, if there was an internet disconnection).

A sync should also be performed if changes were made while a controller was offline. For example, enrolling new credentials or adding doors to access rights when the controller was offline.

A controller sync will be sent out to the KB controller in a matter of seconds.

2.0 Performing a Controller Sync

  1. From Borealis, click on Hardware >> Controllers.
  2. The controller's screen will appear.
  3. On the right side of the screen, select the controller's Action menu.
  4. From the Action menu, select Sync.

  5. A sync will immediately be performed on the controller.
