Enable and Disable Home Screen Modules

1.0 Introduction

When you log into the Borealis user interface the first thing you will see is the home screen. The home screen dashboard provides you with a visual snapshot of the current system status, including the total number of credentials and their status, the communication status of the hardware on the system, recent operator login activity, recent cardholder access granted events and information regarding recent updates to the Borealis platform.




2.0 Enable or Disable Home Screen Modules

  1. On the home screen, click on the setup icon, located on the right.



  2. You will see, by default, all the modules are enabled.
  3. Select Disable for any module that you wish to be hidden.



  4. Click in the Select Readers field and you can select the specific readers that you wish to be displayed.



  5. Any readers shown on the home screen can be immediately locked or unlocked via the home screen module.
