Add an NXT-MSC and True Mercury Site

Add an NXT-MSC and True Mercury Site

1.0 Introduction

The site determines which hardware type will be used. Once a site has been added you will then be able to add a hub (or multiple hubs) to the site.

A site may represent a business location, a floor of a building or any other grouping of hardware. The requirements for a site are as follows:

Notes:

  • An NXT-MSC site supports NXT-MSC and True Mercury controllers.
  • You will need to use multiple hubs if you wish to use different hardware/controller types (for example: Standard NXT AND NXT-Mercury-Powered (MSC) controllers.
  • A site must have a world timezone assigned (all controllers on the site will use this world timezone).
  • Each site will need a minimum of one physical hub.
  • Each hub supports up to 32 doors.
