Add an NXT 4x4 Module

                      
     
     

The NXT 4×4 module is added to the system via the controller section. The NXT 4x4 module is compatible with Standard NXT, Keri KB and NXT-MSC (Mercury-Powered) controllers.

Note: 
- I
t is not currently possible to link inputs to outputs or re-assign the inputs and outputs to door contact, RTE, strike functionality, etc. Currently, you have the ability to control the outputs on a 4x4 module via Borealis.

  1. From the Borealis user interface, click on Hardware >> All.
  2. Click the black down-arrow to expand the controller.
  3. Click the black down-arrow to expand the Onboard DDM. The controller buses will then be displayed.
  4. Select the bus that the 4x4 module is wired into.
  5. Click the ADD 4X4 button.



    Note: If you are using NXT-MSC controllers you will also see an ADD READER button (giving you the option to add an NXT Exit reader.

  6. Confirm the prompt that appears.
  7. The NXT 4x4 module will be added to the selected bus.
